Plot
Sakthivel works in a software company. His parents are searching a suitable bride for him. Sakthivel’s condition is that the bride should earn more than him so that he can lead a sophisticated life. His parents choose Shivani, who was born in America but wants to settle in India as a housewife due to her love for Indian culture. Unknowing her wish to quit her job after marriage, Sakthi agrees to marry her, as she earns well. What happens when Sakthi learns about Shivani’s wish? Were they successful in their married life? What troubles did Sakthi face financially? The rest of the film speaks about this.
Star Performance
Srikanth fits well in the role. Cynthia’s performance is decent. Yet, Srikanth and Cynthia’s pair didn’t attract. MS Bhaskar and Meera have done their roles well. Vinodhini, Chaams, Premgi, and Radha Ravi did justice to the given characters.
Analysis
The story is simple yet meaningful. However, many of the younger generation women, don’t want to quit their jobs and take care of their family. All they need is to have a safe job for a better future. The heroine is just the opposite of the young generation of women. Though they have reasons for her character, it may not match the current trend. The mentality of IT guys shown in this film, seems to be a bit exaggerated from the reality. The dialogues are good. But, it is more like a TV series than a cinema. If the screenplay had been better, then it would’ve reached well. The visuals are impressive. Cynthia didn’t leave any stone unturned with respect to the technical and production values. Ilaiyaraaja’s music is soothing.

Verdict
Despite the flaws, the film has good entertaining elements. If you love watching a family entertainer, you can visit the theatres!
