Pradeep Panicker is a former theatre playwright who is currently a serial scriptwriter in the Malayalam Television industry. He was initiated into theatre by his father (a state-award winning actor late NG Panicker). Pradeep Panicker made his debut in the Television Industry in 1999, with “Ezhilambala” aired on Thiruvananthapuram Doordarshan. Usually, Soap Opera characters are stereotyped as lazy, frivolous, and timid, but Panicker chooses to be different and break the stereotype. In an Interview, He stated, “Our serial plots are driven by viewers' preference, thanks to the TAM ratings. Moreover, it is a challenging task to live up to their belief, especially when you are writing for more than one soap Opera.”
