Naslen K. Gafoor had shot to fame with Premalu, co-incidentally produced by Fahadh Faasil last year. Made on a budget of just 3 crores, the movie earned a whopping 136 crores worldwide. He recently starred in the sports drama Alappuzha Gymkhana, which also turned out to be a surprise success, earning more than 68 crores worldwide on a budget of just 12 crores.

On the other hand, Fahadh Faasil had a wild ride in 2024. With the lone exception of Vettaiyan, all of his movies were hugely successful, including his production venture Premalu.
