Jessica Hannah Jess Glynne was born on 20th October 1989 in the Hampstead City of London, United Kingdom. Her height is 1. 73metres. Her mother worked for A and R, a music publishing house in London, and her father was an estate agent.She was raised by her parents in the Muswell Hills of North London. Jess did her schooling from the Rhodes Avenue Primary School and Fortismere School in North London. Here at Fortismere, she did her GCE Advanced level and graduated in 2008. After finishing her schooling, she worked in various boutiques and fitness centres to earn some extra pocket money.She has been working as a singer and songwriter in the British music industry since 2012.

She made her TV debut on the show called The X Factor when she was just 15. Unfortunately, she was rejected due to a disagreement of the producers. In her late teens, she started working with a music management company and wrote songs and also produced music videos for them.
