Adele

Adele was born as Adele Laurie Blue Adkins on 5th May 1988 in Tottenham, London in the UK. She is an excellent singer and a song writer. Her parents are Mark Evans and Penny Adkins. Her father is a Welsh, and her mother is an English lady. She started to sing at an early age of four. Adele recorded her first album “Hometown Glory” in 2004. It was her composition. In 2006, she graduated from BRIT School for Performing Arts & Technology. Adele is proud of her school, which developed her music skills. Her debut album, “19” was released in 2008 and it was a commercial hit. She also got the appreciation from the critics for her debut album. It got the Platinum certificate in the UK for seven times and also got the double time Platinum certification in the US. She won her first Grammy Award at the 51st Annual Grammy Awards in 2009 for the Best New Artist and the Best Female Pop Vocal performance. She has received six Grammy Awards till date.

Apart from the Grammys, she has won Brit Awards twice. Her second album, “21” created various records and is mentioned in the Guinness Book of World Records. The album has created a history, as it placed her in the Billboard Hot 100 for three consecutive times, which is a record by a woman singer. In 2012, she got the Song Writer of the year Award at Ivor Novello Awards. She also won the Song of the Year Award for “Rolling in the Deep” at BMI Awards in London. In 2013, she received the Academy Award for Best Original Song for the “ Skyfall Click to look into! >> Read More... ” theme in “James Bond”. After 1981, no James Bond theme had won the award. Adele broke the record and celebrated the success. She also received the honour to be the Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) and received the award from the Prince Charles. The Award ceremony was held at the Buckingham Palace on December 19, 2013. Her third studio album, “25” was released in 2015 and it created a new record in the UK and the US. She has become one of the World’s Best Selling Artists, through her latest album. The album has earned her more than $100 million.
