Edward Maya

Edward Maya is a very famous Romanian DJ, musician,record producer, singer and a song writer who is most famous for his smash hit single which was released in 2009 “ Stereo Love”. Edward Maya is not his real name but just a stage name, his real name is Eduard Marian LLie who was born on 29 june 1986 at Bucharest in Romania. His basic career had been from 2006 till present date. From childhood only he was very fond of instruments and Edward is expert in playing Accordion , guitar, flute, piano, bagpipes etc. In 2006 which was the beginning of Edward’s career he worked with many other famous Romanian artists such as Akcent and Vika Jigulina.

He even worked on the famous song Tornero which was performed by Mihahi Traistariu in the Eurovision Song Contest 2006, which he regard as the beginning of his career. In summer of 2009 , Maya launched his first song as an artist, “ Stereo Love”, which managed to reach No. 2 rank in the Romanian singles chart. Later that year, “ stereo love” became an international hit in all the clubs all over the world. Since then he has been maintaining a stable career and had also formed his own music record label with the name Mayavin Records. After creating his own records, he launched his second single after Stereo love, named “ This is my life” which was also an Youtube hit which featured Jigulina as well as artists from his first album Stereo love too.

Mayavin records’s main motive was to provide opportunities to the new comer and other artists. Through mayavin , Edward dropped his third single with Jigulina, named “ Desert Rain” in early 2011, which went to top ten in Czech Republic. Edward maya is still continuously giving hits on social platforms and have established a well maintained label records and going with a stable career life. From getting success at a very young age to maintaining it till date, Edward had worked hard daily and still kept the pace of his career, as he chooses quality over quantity which makes him more superior to many other artists in the industry
