Morgan Spurlock is a multi-talented American citizen. He is a television producer, documentary filmmaker, screenwriter, humorist, political activist and a playwright. He was born on November 7, 1970, in Parkersburg, West Virginia, United States of America. After his birth, his parents shifted to Beckley, West Virginia. Their names are Phyllis and Ben Spurlock. He is of English and Scots-Irish descent. He is also a member of Phi Gamma Delta, a fraternity. He then began writing plays. His play The Phoenix, helped him win several awards at the prestigious events like Route 66 American Playwriting Competition and the International Fringe Festival. One of the famous shows of MTV, I Bet You Will, is his brainchild. He also hosted it. In 2004, he created and released the movie Super-Size Me. The idea for the project stuck him while watching the news about two girls suing MacDonald's, a fast-food giant, for being responsible for increasing their weight. By the end of the movie, he gained more than twenty kilograms. Academy Awards' jury nominates it in one of their categories.
