Lisa Thompson is an Australian production designer who was born in 1965. She is among the notable personalities of the Hollywood film industry. She was born and brought up in Toorak, Victoria. She initiated her career as a production designer in the TV series ‘Mission: Impossible,’ which aired in 1988. She then continuously presented her artwork as a production designer in the numerous TV series, including Lambada in 1990, ‘The People under the stairs’ in 1991, ‘The Last of the Ryans’ in 1997, etc. Soon, she got an opportunity to make her debut in the Australian film industry from the movie ‘Romper Stomper,’ which released in 1992. Some of the movies in which she has worked as a production designer are ‘Hating Alison Ashley’ in 2005, ‘Sleeping Beauty’ in 2011, ‘The Lego Ninjago Movie’ in 2017, etc. Due to the presentation of setting the stage, she became the first choice for the film directors. She has also worked as an actress in the TV series ‘The Pretender,’ which aired in 1996. The year 2015 proved to be lucky for her when she was given two awards for her amazing contribution to the films. She was awarded an Emmy award for her Outstanding Art Design for the miniseries ‘The Pacific.’ The same year, she also won the Academy Award for Best Production Design for the film ‘Mad Max: Fury Road.’
