Candice is an American Actress who was born on 9th of May 1946. She was also a former fashion model. Her parents are Frances Bergen and Edgar Bergen. Her sister is Kris Bergen, an editor and actor. She went to the University of Pennsylvania. However, she failed in two subjects so she dropped out of it. She has, however, studied photography and was also a photojournalist. She has also taken a course from HBO Studios in Drama, . She kick started her career as a model and was seen in the cover of magazines like Vogue. Her debut film was The Group. She acted in the movies like Starting Over (1979).

She received many nominations for the category of Best Actor in Supporting Role including, an Academy Award and Golden Globe. She was seen in Hollywood Wives which was a miniseries, which came out in the year 1985. In the year 1984, Knock Wood was a memoir she wrote.

She was widely appreciated for her role in the Ten year season series , which started in 1989 and culminated in 1998. She had to her name seven Emmy Nominations out of which she bagged five. She further refused to take to her account any nominations for her role in Murphy Brown. She made appearances in shows like Boston Legal. She is said to be the first lady host of the show and the only one who hosted it twice. She could be seen in movies like and Sex in the City etc. Candice married on 27th September 1980 to Louis Malle who was a French Director. They had a daughter named Chloe. She is a stepmom to Manuel and Justine Malle. Candice lost him due to cancer in the year 1995. She later married Marshal Rose, who is a philanthropist.
