Colin Gibson was born in Australia. He is an Australian Production designer by profession. Colin started his career in the production department in the year 1994. He used to design beautiful and fantastic transports. Colin made is first-ever cars in the year 2003 for the films The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert Mad Max: Fury Road. He even designed the buses and all other vehicles of the movies. The development of the movie started taking place, but the production of the same didn’t gear up yet. In the year 1995, he was nominated for the British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA Award) for the Best Production Design for the movie The Adventures of Priscilla: Queen of the Desert. In the year 2015, he won the Hollywood Film Award for the Hollywood Production Design in the cinema Mad Max: Fury Road. In the same year 2015AACTA Awards AACTA Award for Best Production Design. Again in the same year 2015, he won his 3rd award and made his hattrick year with the Critics' Choice Movie Award for the Best Art Direction for the same film Mad Max: Fury Road. In the next year 2016, he won Award for Best Production Design Won for Mad Max: Fury Road.
