, and Spy. His father was a Jewish but changed his religion to Christian Science and Feig was taught the teachings of this religion only. Before moving to Los Angeles, California he studied at Wayne State University. In 1994, he tied the knot with Laurie Karnon. He was able to land small roles in Tv shows and then went on to feature in movie Heavyweights. With the help of the co- scripter of the film, Feig wrote a dramedy series titled Freaks and Geeks, which had the baseline of his school experiences. Although the show was doing okay its six episodes could not be shown on the television.
Freaks and Geeks earned praise from the viewers and thus it was one of the names to enter the list of 100 Greatest Shows of All Time by Time magazine and also it was able to find a spot in the list of 13 Best Shows of the past 25 years.
