Grant Curtis

Grant Curtis is a motion picture producer from Hollywood. He is best known for his work on the Spider-Man series of motion pictures. Along with being a producer, he also does writing for films and is an actor too. His birthplace is Warrensburg, a small town in the Missouri state of the United States. He secured his post-graduation degree at the University of Central Missouri (UCM). He earned a graduation in Mass Communication from over here. It was in the year 1997. He initialized his film career in the year 1997, the same year he earned his masters from UCM. He wrote a story with the heading And God Stepped Aside, which got converted into a screenplay. The story is of a young person who agrees to take his grandmother to France. His Grandma is on her deathbed and to go to Paris, the capital of the beautiful country France, is her last wish. He is a bit hesitant about this but later complies.

People rumor that this story got formulated by inspiration from Curtis’s family itself. It is his encounter with the idea of death in his family. He shifted to Los Angeles in California, the magical city in which Hollywood is present. People say that Los Angeles is the city of opportunities, and this held true for Grant Curtis. While he was in LA, his friend next door let him know that the famous director Sam Raimi wanted to hire an assistant. Soon, Grant Curtis went to interview for this position of Sam Raini’s assistant. He was not very confident that he’d get selected due to his country accent and behavior and also because he hadn’t worked enough before. However, his queries were pointless as he got the job after a few months.

With Sam Raini, he made a string of highly successful movies like Oz the Great and Powerful as well as the Spider-Man series of motion pictures. Till date, five Spider-Man movies have been made. It got bestowed to him by University of Central Missouri’s Alumnus Associations. Going beyond films, he also wrote a paperback with the heading of The Spider-Man Chronicles: The Art & Making of Spider-Man 3, which was a very interesting book. The publishers launched the book in the year 2007.
