Since 2012, Cedomir Kolar has also been the decision maker for Torino Film Lab (TFL) which made movies like 'Beast,' 'Cargo.' 'Messi and Maud' and 'Hunting Season.' TFL has now expanded its operations in Qatar and Singapore with 3-tailor-made workshops in January 2018.

Cedomir Kolar was born in former Yugoslavia, Rijeka on the Adriatic coast of Croatia. To pursue his career in the movies, he graduated in film production at the Belgrade Academy of Dramatic Arts. Later on, since 1991, he has been engaged in the role of a producer for "Noe Productions” in Paris.

Also, in 2003, he started his production entity in Paris titled as A.S.A.P Films. Director Danis Tanovic and another fellow producer Marc Baschet Marc Baschet is a French producer and cinematograp >> Read More... were his partners for this production entity.

With Danis Tanovic, he produced some notable short films such as “11’09 01-September 11” and even a feature film titled “No Man’s Land.” The producer was associated with other director’s movies too, and they include “As you like me” by Carmine Amoroso, ‘Before The Rain’  by Milcho Manchevski, ‘Train of Life’ by Radu Mihaileanu.

Cedmoir Kolar was also presented with last year’s European Co-Production Award at the European Film Awards in December 2017.

Cedomir Kokar helped writer Danis Tanovic to make his debut as a director for the movie 'No Man's Land' (2001). The film was set in the backdrop of the Bosnian war. The film won the best foreign film at the 2001 Golden Globe Awards and best foreign language film at the 74th Academy Awards. It also won the best screenplay award at Cannes Film festival and European Film Academy award too.

His another movie 'Cirkus Columbia' (2010) directed by Danis Tanovic which was co-produced by ten producers including Cedomir Kolar could not make the top list of Oscar nominations at the 83rd Academy Awards.

In the year 2014, he was co-producer of 2014 Indian-International film 'Tigers' directed by Danis Tanovic which starred Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi Emraan Hashmi is one of the most successful & cont >> Read More... . Pritam composed the film’s music. The film depicted life story of a salesman played by Emraan who fights against the system of his company that sells baby-formula products.
