After the formation of the Grand Electric, Newman’s production company, he accepted the offer of the Studio Canal, a French-based production and distribution company. Jacob Jaffke collaborated with Grand Electric as the Head of Development, in January 2015. Grand Electric works in the U.S and European markets. Eric, who is also associated with Grand Electric as an executive producer, runs a show on Netflix named, 'Narcos'.
