David Ellison’s full name is David Ferris Ellison. Ellison is an American producer. He is also the CEO of Skydance Productions. Ellison was born on January 9, 1983, in Santa Clara County, California. He is the only son of the billionaire Larry Ellison, who is the CTO of Oracle Corporation. His mother’s name is Barbara Boothe Ellison, who is Larry Ellison’s ex-wife. He also has one sister named Megan Ellison, who is also a film Producer.

After completing his high school education, Ellison went to the University of Southern California. He dropped out of the University in the year 2005. Ellison started his career as a movie producer in the year 2010 when he produced his first movie named True Grit. Joel and Ethan Coen directed the movie. The movie was a true western movie and was an adaptation of the Charles Portis novel having the same name.

The movie was well received by both the viewers and the critics. After the success of True Grit, Ellison produced his second movie in the year 2011. He was the executive producer of the movie Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, directed by Brad Bird. The movie was a huge hit worldwide and put Ellison on the international market. He was approached by many directors to produce their movies. In 2012, Ellison produced The Guilt Trip and Jack Reacher directed by Anne Fletcher and Christopher McQuarrie respectively. In 2015, Ellison produced two big movies namely Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation and Terminator Genisys. David Brown was born on July 28, 1916, and passed away on February 1, 2010. He was an American film and theater maker; he was additionally writer. Born in New York, the child of Lillian and Edward Fisher Brown, he was the alum of the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and the Stanford University. David Jonathan Heyman is a film producer in Hollywood. He is also the founder of a British film production company Heyday Films. He was brought up in London. His father John Heyman was also a producer. John has produced many movies a few of them being The Go-Between, Jesus; I’m Feelin’ So Sad and The Hireling. His mother, Norma Heyman was an actress. Norma also was an Academy Award nominated producer for the films Mrs. Henderson Presents and Dangerous Liaisons. His father’s family was from Germany, and they shifted to England after the Second World War. He did his schooling at Westminster school and completed his degree in the year 1983 in Art History from Harvard University of U.S.A. Heyman’s wife Rose Uniacke (Rose Batstone Uniacke) is an interior designer. The couple has a son. He started his career as a production assistant in the film A Passage to India, which was directed by David Lean. Next, he joined Warner Brothers as a creative executive. In the late eighties, he reached the designation of Vice President in the United Arts (Film and TV Entertainment studio of America). After that, he independently produced his first film Juice in the year 1992. Juice also featured the famous rapper (hip-hop artist) Tupac Shakur. Together with Neal Moritz, he produced a cult movie The Stone Age in 1994. In the year 1997, he came back to London and established his production company. After that, he has produced some films under his production concern Heyday Films. In 1999, he held the film rights to the famous J.K Rowling’s Harry Potter film series. Following which he produced all the parts of the Harry Potter series. The first part adaptation of the book Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s (Sorcerers) Stone into the film came in the year 2001. Subsequently, he produced the whole series, the final movie of the series being Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows-2 in the year 2011. The whole Potter series was a huge success and got nominated for and won many awards including BAFTA Award, Producer’s Guild of America Award, BAFTA Children’s Award, Arts Director Guild Award and ShoWest Convention, USA. In 2007, David produced another film named I Am Legend. In the next year, he produced three films, The Boy in the Stripped Pyjamas, Is Anybody There and Yes Man. In 2013, he came together with Alfonso Cuarón- director to produce a space thriller movie, Gravity. Gravity featuring Sandra Bullock was nominated for 10 Academy Awards and brought in more than US$700 million globally. The film won Producers Guild of America Award, BAFTA Award and AACTA International Award. In the same year, he produced two other films- We’re the Millers and The Thirteenth Tale. His 2014 produced film ‘Paddington’ got nominated for the BAFTA Award in the category of Alexander Korda Award for Best British Film. His latest production of the year 2016 is Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. He is also thinking about producing a film on The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon. He already has the rights for this with the Warner Brothers. David Heyman will also be honoured for his career achievement by the Producers Guild of America and David O. Selznick Award.
