David Jonathan Heyman is a film producer in Hollywood. He is also the founder of a British film production company Heyday Films. He was brought up in London. After that, he independently produced his first film Juice in the year 1992. Juice also featured the famous rapper (hip-hop artist) Tupac Shakur.
Together with Neal Moritz, he produced a cult movie The Stone Age in 1994. In the year 1997, he came back to London and established his production company. After that, he has produced some films under his production concern Heyday Films. In 1999, he held the film rights to the famous J.K Rowling’s Harry Potter film series. Following which he produced all the parts of the Harry Potter series. The first part adaptation of the book Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s (Sorcerers) Stone into the film came in the year 2001. Subsequently, he produced the whole series, the final movie of the series being Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows-2 in the year 2011.
