Christopher McQuarrie is a 1968 born American director, producer and Academy Award-winning screenwriter. He is quite popular for his work in the Hollywood film industry. Born and brought up in Princeton Junction, New Jersey, he traveled for the five years of college and worked at a detective agency that he left immediately after writing his first screen play for the movie Public Access by Bryan Singer. After leaving his job at the detective agency, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the Hollywood film industry.

Christopher McQuarrie regularly co-ordinates in work with his childhood friend and director Bryan Singer, with whom he has co-written the screenplay of Valkyrie, Edge of Tomorrow and Jack, The Giant Slayer. He has also won the Academy Award and the BAFTA Award in the category of ‘Best Original Screenplay’ for The Usual Suspects. Not only this, but the screenplay has also been named as one of the best screenplays ever written by Writer’s Guild of America. McQuarrie is not only an amazing writer, but also a famous and well-known Hollywood movie director and producer. He has directed movies like The Way of the Gun, Mission: Impossible-Rogue Nation, and Jack Reacher.

He has produced Valkyrie and Jack Reacher: Never Go back. He has also written and produced the television show Persons Unknown. Other movies written by Christopher McQuarrie include X-Men, The Tourist, The Wolverine, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, etc. He has also written the TV shows NYPD Blue and The Underworld. Christopher did his schooling from West Windsor-Plainsboro High School, after which he worked on the post of an assistant at Christ Church Grammar School, Perth, Australia.

After nine months, he was fired from the job, and after that, he took up a job at the detective agency, where he worked for quite some time before writing his first official screenplay for his friend Singer. Christopher Chris Meledandri was born on 15 May 1959. He was born in New Yok city in America. He is a film producer. He is also the director of Illumination Entertainment. Chris Meledandri graduated from Dartmouth College with a B.A degree in English. His father passed away a month before his graduation. He did not grow up watching animated movies or cartoons. He gained experience in films not through Walt Disney but by Stanley Kubrick, Martin Scorsese, and Woody Allen. From 1981 to 1986 he worked for Dan Melnick as his assistant. Then he rose as an associate producer. He started this journey as the President at Walt Disney pictures for Dawn steel pictures. He worked as the Chief Producer of Cool Runnings. Then he joined 20th Century Fox in 1993. He was the producer of Ever After: A Cinderella Story. Chris was the one who assisted Fox to become popular in animated films all over the world. He helped Fox gain Blue Sky studios, a commercial house in 1998. He developed that into an outstanding producer of animation. He noted the business and creative works Blue Sky Studios. It is now a completely owned CGI studio by Fox. He worked as a supervisor in the studio. Chris Meledandri is the executive producer of Robots, Ice Age, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Ice Age: Meltdown, Dr. Seuss Horton Hears a Who! and The Simpsons Movie. Chris Meledandri produced the animated short films No Time for Nuts and Gone Nutty. Both these films for nominated for Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film. In 2007 he resigned his President post from 20th Century Fox Animation. He then found Illumination Entertainment. It was an All Audience Film Production. Universal Studios financed it. Illumination Entertainment released its first film Despicable me in 2010. The film was a huge success all over the world. In 2011 they released their second movie Hop. It was directed by Tim Hill. In 2012 they released the film Lorax. In 2013 they released the sequel to Despicable me titled Despicable me 2. In 2015 they released the film Minions which featured minions. NBC Universal then said they wanted to buy Dreamworks Animation on 28 April 2016. They purchased the competing studio for 3.8 billion dollars. Chris Meledandri then looked after Dreamworks and Illumination Entertainment. He is a representative of The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. He is also a representative of trustees board of The Hotchkiss School, Lakeville in Connecticut. Chris Meledandri married Leslie and he has two sons.
