His screenplay for a short film, Glacier Bay, won several prestigious awards, including the Best Screenplay. He penned scripts for A Brooklyn State of Mind and Dark Side of Genius. Frederick directed and wrote Suburban Legends, a comedy series. Oswald, one of the most lovable cartoons of all time, was also written by Frederick. Wow, Wow, Wubbzy! is also written by him.
