Zoe Kazan

Zoe Kazan is an American playwright and actress. Her middle name is Swicord. She was born on the 9th of September in 1983. She was born in the city of Los Angeles which is also known as the Hollywood city of United States. Her paternal grandparents Elia Kazan and Molly Kazan, were theater and film director, and playwright respectively. She completed her education at the private school of Wildwood called Wildwood School.

She also studied at the Marlborough School which is situated in the Hancock Park in Los Angeles for a short period. Following school, she attended her grandfather’s alma mater – Yale University. She was an active member of the manuscript society in Yale. She graduated in the year 2005 with a degree of Bachelor’s of Arts in theater. Zoe Kazan entered the Film Industry in the year 2003. She made her debut as an actor in the movies ‘Swordswallowers’ and ‘Thin Me’. She also started her first professional stage role on Broadway in the year 2006. She was a part of the Broadway restorations of The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie.

In the year 2007, she made her television debut when she did a cameo in the supernatural drama ‘Medium’. With these additional stage and television gigs, she continued her work in the movies and was seen in three to four supporting roles.
