Kathryn Newton

Kathryn Newton is an American actress born on 8th February 1999 in Florida, United States. She entered the film industry when she was four years old. Her first film was the Soap Opera ‘All My Children’, in which she played the role of Colby Marian Chandler( 2001 to 2004). Simultaneously, she did two short films, ‘Abbie Down East’ in 2002 and ‘Bun Bun’ in 2003. Later in 2008, she played the role of Louise Brook in the CBS TV series Gary Unmarried. Her family moved to Los Angeles when she was 12, and she attended the Notre Dame High School there. In 2017, she starred in the HBO series ‘ Big Little Lies Big Little Lies, a mini-series written by David E. >> Read More... ’, based on the novel of Liane Moriarty. She also played lead roles in the films, ‘Three Billboards Outside Ebbing’, ‘Missouri’, ‘Ben is Back’, and ‘Pokémon Detective Pikachu’.

In 2019, she played the role of Allie in the Netflix series ‘ The Society Society is an American teen drama filled with myst >> Read More... ’. In 2010, she starred in the horror-comedy film ‘Freaky’, directed by Christopher Landon. Later in 2021, she did the role of Margaret in the film ‘The Map of Tiny Perfect Things’. She plays the role of Cassie Lang in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’. It was quite an exciting moment for Kathryn. She even hid this news from her father because she didn’t want to give spoilers.  

She received the Young Artist Awards for the Best Performance in a TV Series Gary Unmarried and Best Performance in a TV Comedy Series and also won the 34th Young Artist Awards for the film ‘Paranormal Activity 4’. She is also a golfer. She started to play golf tournaments at the age of 8. She was also a member of Notre Dame High School’s girl’s golf team.
