Seth Macfarlane

Seth Woodbury MacFarlane is widely regarded as one of the kings of animated comedy.  He is known for his creation of smash-hits such as Family Guy, The Cleveland Show and American Dad.  From a very young age Seth was drawing very detailed sketches of cartoon characters such as Fred Flintstone.  He then moved on to creating short flip books thus solidifying his desire to be an animator.  MacFarlane would grow up and graduate from the Rhode Island School of design in 1995.  Seth MacFarlane got his major start when he submitted The Life of Larry to one of his college professors and the professor in turn submitted it to the animation studio, Hanna-Barbera whom are responsible for animated classics such as Scooby Doo and the Flintstones.  The Life of Larry would go on to be the inspiration for Seth’s monster show Family Guy.  Seth would later be hired at Hanna-Barbera.  During his time with the studio Seth had a hand in the creation of numerous shows such as Dexter’s Laboratory, Cow and Chicken, I Am Weasel and Johnny Bravo Johnny Bravo is an animated American sitcom in the >> Read More... .  Voice actors he met during this time would go on to be integral parts in his Family Guy series.  On top of all of this, Seth did some side work for Disney TV animation.  Seth Macfarlane loved his time at Hanna-Barbera but would eventually move on and push forward the Family Guy concept.  MacFarlane actually failed in his first pitch for the series but after similar show King of the Hill garnered success his second pitch was accepted.  Six months later Seth came to the executives at Fox with his first draft of a Pilot episode which was immediately accepted.  Known for its crude jokes and content Family Guy has come under a lot of criticism however it has not stopped this freight train of a success.  Seth does the voice acting of 5 major characters on the show.  It is very common for Seth to provide voice for many characters in his own creations.  After the success of Family Guy, MacFarlane created two other shows that, while not gaining the same amount of fame as Family Guy, still reached high ratings.  Ted and Ted 2 were also 2 films created by Seth in which he “acted” as a toy teddy bear alongside famous actor Mark Wahlberg One of the multi-awarded youngest and finest star; >> Read More... .  In addition to the Ted series he also produced A Million Ways to Die in the West in which he also acted next to Charlize Theron She’s one of the most exquisite beauty queens in H >> Read More... .  Alongside all of this Seth also sings and actually has a record deal with Universal.  Seth is not currently married or in a relationship and he regards his love life as similar to that of one of his character’s, Brian Griffin.
