Pearce was born on 5th October 1967 in Ely, Cambridgeshire, England. His father’s name was Stuart Pearce, and he was an RAAF test pilot. He died in a plane crash when Guy was eight years old. His mother’s name was Anne Cocking and taught home economics and needle works. Pearce moved to Geelong, Victoria when he was three years old. He went to a private school in Victoria and then attended the Geelong College. He was the member of GSODA Junior League. Pearce was a body builder from the age of 14 to 22. He even participated in the Junior, Mr. Victoria. In the late 1980s, he moved to the Box Hill North, Victoria when he was offered a role in the famous Australian television series named Neighbours. Peace used to perform in many theaters shows as a part-time hobby after attending his school when he was just 17 years old.

After working in theaters, Pearce worked in the television series Neighbours. After his fabulous work in Neighbours, he was offered roles in much other television series like Snowy Rider: The McGregor Saga and Home and Away. Frank Howson offered him roles in three movies in the year 1994. He even took him to the Cannes Film Festival in the year 1991 for the premiere of his movie Hunting. In 1994, he appeared in The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert in which he played the role of a drag queen. After that, he appeared in various American production movies like L.A Confidential, Memento, Rules of Engagement, and The Count of Monte Cristo. He appeared in the role of Andy Warhol in the movie Factory Girl. In the year 2002, Pearce appeared in an Australian movie, The Hard Wood. He was critically acclaimed for the movie The Proposition.After working in Proposition, he took a little break from the cinema, but he returned after seven years in a play written by Tin Finn and Matt Cameron. In 2010, he made his return to the American Cinema with an award winning movie The King’s Speech. In 2013, Pearce appeared in the movie Iron Man 3 in which he played the role of Aldrich Killian. Pearce is also passionate about his singing. He released his first album in the year 2014 named Broken Bones. Pearce even won an Emmy for Best Supporting Actor in Miniseries category for his performance in Mildred Pierce. Pearce got married to his childhood girlfriend, Kate Mestitz in 1997. However, in October 2015 they split up. Pearce is a member of many charitable organizations including animal welfare and animal rights.
