Columbus Keith Short Jr. is a choreographer, singer, and actor of America. Columbus was born in the Kansas City of Missouri. He describes his family as ‘musicial.’ Janette- his mother owns a talent management company. He relocated when he was five years old to Los Angeles. Soon after that, he started working in a youth theatre. He did his schooling from Marcos De Niza High School in Arizona, El Segundo High School and the Orange County High School of Arts. Then, in senior year in high school, he was offered two months early graduation and joined the Stomp’s Broadway (travelling production) tour. He has two siblings- John and Chris. The American Drama is the adaptation of Teri Woods’s novel which goes by the same name. Columbus won the award for Best Ensemble in 2008 and Outstanding Supporting Actor (in a Motion Picture) in 2009. He got married to Brandi Short and had a son from the marriage, but they separated in the year 2003. Later, he confessed that the reason for the breakdown of his marriage was his close relationship with Britney Spears. Then, he got married to Tanee McCall- dancer in 2005.
They got divorced in 2013 following the domestic violence charges against Columbus. Reportedly, Columbus held a knife to Tanee’s throat and threatened to kill her for cheating on him. Columbus has a daughter Ayala from Tanee. Following this controversy, Columbus was let go from the Scandal TV series. In 2015, Karrie Steffans claimed that she legally married Columbus Short. According to the recent news, Karrie Steffans alleged that Short has cheated on her.
