Chris Elliott

Chris Elliott is an American writer-comedian actor. He is best known for the comedy show Late Night with David Letterman. He has appeared in many television series like How I Met Your Mother, Eagleheart, and Get a Life. He has been a part of films like There's Something About Mary, Cabin Boy, Groundhog Day and Scary Movie 2. He won four Emmy Awards for his writing ability. He was born in New York City. His parents were Bob Elliott and Lee. His father worked as a comedian and actor. He was known for his collaboration with Ray, and the duo was called as Bob and Ray. As a child, Chris would visit with his father the Graybar Building and would look at the making of a radio program, and the recordings were done on the radio. He went to the National Theater Institute at the National Theater Institute at the Eugene O'Neill. Chris participated in the David Letterman Show and was the runner-up. His funny behavior was noticed by Letterman. He was offered a role in The Fugitive Guy, and he accepted the role. He was seen in many episodes and even appeared in the "The Guy Under the Seats." He used to write for Letterman, which earned him four Emmy Awards in the category of Outstanding Writing and various Music and Comedy Program. He served as a producer and writer for Get a Life in 1990.

In 1992, he starred and wrote the script of the movie Cabin Boy. He then later appeared in movies like There’s Something About Mary and Groundhog Day. They couple is blessed with two daughters Bridey and Abby. His daughter Abby continued to the footsteps of her family and perused her career in comedy. She left her college and moved to Los Angeles and attended classes at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. She made her presence in 2008 at the Saturday Night Live. His second daughter also wants to make an entry in the comedy industry.
