Rohan Oza was born on October 2, 1971, in Livingstone, Zambia. He is an American investor, businessman, and marketing expert. He did his schooling at Harrow School. He graduated in manufacturing, and industrial engineering from the University of Nottingham. Then, he pursued his MBA from the University of Michigan. His career began with Mars' M&M's as the marketing manager in the town of Slough. He marketed Snickers for Mars in Europe. He later became the marketing manager for the Coca-Cola Company. He was credited for revitalizing the brand Sprite after he signed Kobe Bryant as a spokesperson. Not only Bryant, but he also worked with personalities, including Gal Gadot, Rihanna, Madonna, Michael Vick, Tom Brady, LeBron James, Ne-Yo, Jennifer Aniston, and 50 Cent as celebrity endorsements.
In 2002, he left Coca-Cola, and joined Glacéau, a vitamin water-based brand. Later, Coca-Cola purchased Glacéau, expanding its portfolio. He worked as Chief Marketing Officer of Coke's still brands till 2009. He is the founder of Idea Merchants Capital Investor. He persuaded the Dr Pepper Snapple Group to acquire Bai Brands for 1.7 billion dollars. He has also backed other brands like Smartwater, Kombucha, and Bulletproof Coffee. He has been a recurring guest on the famous show "Shark Tank." Also he serves as an advisor to a non-profit organization, Impact Network, which brings quality education to rural people in Zambians.
