Roopal Patel is a Luxury Fashion Consultant in America. She was born in U.S.A. Her parents were immigrants from India. About her career, she has worked as “Fashion Director” in “5th Avenue Of Saks”. After then she joined for Neiman Marcus, where she was at the post of “ Senior Fashion Director”. With that, she has worked as “ market editor” at style.com. In 2012, she started her own fashion consulting company. “ CFDA Fashion - incubator” is one of her many clients. She always encouraged bright colors in the fashion industry. Even she has decorated her home with colors. Even when talking about her personality, you would find her with vivid colors heels, tie- dyed shirt and pillows.
Because she was on the post of fashion director in the fifth avenue of “Saks”, she used to report to “ Tracy Margolies” only; chief merchant of Saks. Her work profile is to forecast trends, scout new designers each season and to formulate the fashion focuses. When she attended “ Fifth Avenue of Saks” as a fashion director, then a lot of fashion consultants from America were gathered in “ Gramercy Park Hotel’s terrace” to give her a warm welcome. She decided to join Sak, from her own founded consultancy agency in 2012.

Simkhai, who has won the Fashion Fund award, admitted that he knows Roopal four years back while he was learning in incubator program of CFDA, where Roopal was working as the mentor, and he appraises her skills and says that she does very brilliant when it comes to taking new learners into the market. As per Roopal, when Tracy asked her about her roles in the company, then she did not find it as a question. She told Tracy about her goals for Saks and told that she is interested in knowing more about culture customers of Saks.
Marc Metrick, president of Saks, added that they are replacing Roopal in place of “Marigay McKee”, and its reason is Roopal’s best understanding of luxury fashion customers and can handle and take the company forward in a better way. Everybody is expecting a company good fortune with her.
As a mentor to designers, her belief is to provide more and more knowledge to people, and even she hosted a pay it forward dinner to bring established fashion consultants together to make a system of support for each other. As per her, theas much more information designers can share with each other, the better workout result will be there.
She dedicates her most of the day to meetings. She usually starts her day with a workout and after then gogoes for a breakfast meeting. After spending some hours in the office, she has a lunch meeting and after then gogoes to showrooms to go through the collection.
