Thomas Dexter Jakes is an American author and filmmaker. He was born on 9th June 1957. He was born in South Charleston in West Virginia, United States. He started his career by working for industries in his locality. Today, he the Bishop of an American church and an established writer and filmmaker. Early Life Jakes was born and brought up in Virginia itself. He was enrolled at Virginia State University but later dropped out to take care of his invalid father. He worked at the local church as part time. Jakes began his journey as a pastor at the Temple of Faith in West Virginia itself. Jakes’ dedication towards his belief made him a confident speaker and pastor. As years passed by, Jakes' congregation grew, and he started to focus on the needs of the women. Women, who had been abused and ignored. He runs a Sunday to Sunday class for women to encourage and motivate them. His speeches were also aired on various TV networks. He expanded his influence across Virginia and in 1994, he officially found an organization for himself which was known as T. D. JAKES Ministries Organization. He continues to write spiritual healings and publishes them to the newer audiences. He is presently the Bishop of The Potter’s House, which is spread over a 34-acre area. Career It was in 1980 that pastor joined the Greater Emanuel Temple of Faith. He started with a group of 10 people but later established it to 100. His organization is a non-profit congregation. He has produced and televised many lectures which are aired on TV. He also runs weekly conferences to spread his message.

In 2004, he produced Woman Thou Art Loosed to spread the message of women power. And in 2014, he came up with Heaven Is for Real, which demonstrated Jakes’ study. Oliver Stone, also known as William Oliver Stone, is an American producer, screenwriter, and a director. He came to the film industry as a writer, writing and directing movies about Vietnam War. Oliver was born on September 15, 1946, in the New York City, The United States of America. His film targets the controversial and political American issues of the late 20th century. Stone has received many awards which include three Academy Awards for his movies. His father, Louis Stone was a stockbroker and fought with the Allied troops in France during the World War II. Stone went to Trinity School in New York but later his parents sent him to a college-preparatory school named The Hill School in Pennsylvania. His parent got divorced when he was just a student. Stone drop out of the Yale University at the age of 18, in 1965. He started teaching English to high school students at the Pacific Institute. He also worked as a worked on US Marine Ship. He even server the US Army during the 1960s where he received a Bronze Star and a Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster. In 1970, Stone completed his graduation from the New York University with a degree in film-making. He was guided by the famous director Martin Scorsese. He was offered a small role in a comedy movie, The Battle of Love’s Return. Stone started his film-making career with a sort film Last Year in Vietnam. He directed his first film named Seizure in the 1970s which were a horror movie. Oliver has produced and directed a lot of masterpiece movies. Some of which include a drug lord Tale, Scarface, and Year of the Dragon. Most of his movies were based on Vietnam wars like Platoon, Heaven and Earth, and Salvador. Stone won his first Academy Award in 1970 for the movie Midnight Express. Midnight Express was a movie based on a true-life prison story, but stone’s screenplay for the movie was criticized by many critics. Platoon introduced him to a wider audience. The movie was a huge success, and it provided a huge kick-start to Oliver’s career. The movie even won the Best Picture and Best Director Academy Award. The platoon was the first film directed by Oliver, based in Vietnamese wars. One of his most successful movies was Wall Street. In 1990, Oliver directed The Doors, which received huge criticism from the viewers and critics. During the same year, Oliver directed the most successful and well-received movie, JFK. The movie was based on the assassination of John F. Kennedy. After 2000’s, Oliver slowed down her production of movies. In 2004, Oliver directed the movie named Alexander, which was critically savaged. After that, Oliver made a movie on two policemen who survived the 9/11 attack. Oliver directed a miniseries called Wide Palms for the ABC Television. He also wanted to write and direct the biopic of George W. Bush, but didn’t get a chance to do so. Adam McKay is an American actor, producer, writer, director and a comedian. McKay is known for his direction of movies such as Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, Step Brothers, The Other Guys and The Big Short among many others. McKay is also credited as the head writer to three seasons of the NBC-produced, Saturday Night Live. McKay co-writes most of his films content along with Will Ferrell and often casts him in his movies. The Emmy-winning website “Funny or Die Presents” is produced by Ferrell and McKay through their joint production house, “Gary Sanchez Productions”. Though McKay was born in Colorado, he grew up in Pennsylvania, where he pursued his education at the Great Valley High School. Later on, McKay attended the Pennsylvania State University but cut short his college days by dropping out to follow his passion which laid elsewhere. The Upright Citizens Brigade improvisational comedy club saw McKay as one of its founding members. McKay also performed regular stand-up gigs at the “Improv Olympic Theater”, and the Child’s Play Touring Theater in Chicago, alongside Matt Besser, Neil Flynn, Ian Roberts, Ali Farahnakian and Miles Stroth. McKay was also a part of the numerous stage plays held at the Second City Theater in Illinois, including the well-known play “Pinata Full of Bees”. McKay started his career as an actor, writer and director through Saturday Night Live in 1995, after the show’s producers had liked the scripts that he provided them. Initially, McKay wanted to be a performer on SNL, but he ended up as the head content writer for the show for nearly three years. Later on, McKay persuaded Tina Fey, a friend from his “Second City” days, to submit her work to the producers of SNL which also led to Fey succeeding McKay as the content writer for the show. Following his departure from the SNL, McKay teamed up with Will Ferrell to act, write and direct the 2004 movie “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy”. McKay has also written, produced, directed and featured in “Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Rocky Bobby”, “Step Brothers”, “The Other Guys”, and “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues”. 2007 saw the launch of McKay’s and Ferrell’s joint venture in the form of the hilarious website “Funny or Die Presents”. In the year 2009, McKay produced “Eastbound & Down”, “The Land of the Lost” and “The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard”. 2010 saw him produce Big Lake, The Other Guys, Funny or Die Presents and The Virginity Hit. McKay has also produced movies such as Casa de Mi Padre, The Campaign, Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, Tammy, Welcome to Me, Sleeping with Other People, Get Hard and A Deadly Adoption. 2015 saw McKay turn scriptwriter for the Paul Rudd starrer, Marvel’s “Ant-Man”. In the same year, McKay wrote and directed the Golden Globe Award-nominated, “The Big Short”. The movie pocketed McKay nominations for a Golden Globe, an Academy Award and a BAFTA Award.
