Pierre Coffin

The creator of everyone’s favorite, Minions, Pierre is a filmmaker, animation artist, and voice artist. Pierre was born on 16th March 1967. He was born to a diplomat and an Indonesian writer, Yves Coffin and Nh. Dini respectively. He knew his love for animation and thus worked towards it. He started his animation schooling at Gobelins animation school in Paris. Later, he worked at a London-based 2D facility, Amblimation and worked on We’re Back! A Dinosaur’s Story. His directorial debut was a 1997 film, Pings followed by commercials for Mac Guff and Paris Promotion Pictures. He worked for a TV series TF1 and created the characters, Pat and Stan.
