Olga Kurylenko

Olga Kurylenko was born on 14th November 1979 in Ukraine, which was a part of the Soviet Union. Her parents divorced when she was just three years old, and she spent most of her life with her mother, who was an artist. Olga inherits her talents and aesthetic sense from her mother. When she was just thirteen years old, she came to the attention of a fashion model scout, who happened to see her in Moscow. While being told about the various prospects of fashion modelling, Olga realizes that it would be an apt career choice for her and thus, she shifts her residence to Paris when she was sixteen years old. Being the centre of fashion and art, Paris granted her everything that Olga had desired. She modelled for various designers, and also procured a contract for the famous Madison modelling agency during the initial phase of her career.

She gained a lot of popularity after being featured on the covers of Vogue and Elle magazine when she was eighteen years old. She was also the brand ambassador for various beauty products and also appeared in a catalogue of Victoria’s Secrets. Olga’s career in films began with a French movie named ‘L’Annulaire’ in 2006. Her performance in the movie got her a certificate of excellence from the Brooklyn International Film Festival held in 2006. In the same year, Olga received the opportunity to appear in the movie ‘Paris Je t’aime’, which turned out to be a modern classic in the history of Cinema. Through her performance in movies, she received attention from all around the world and in 2007, she gets a chance to play a lead role in the movie ‘Hitman’. After Hitman, Olga establishes herself as one of the prime figures among cinema actresses.

At the prime of an actress’s career, she is offered many rare opportunities in the film industry, such as the opportunity to act like a Bond girl, and Olga received such an opportunity in the 2008 released James Bond film- ‘Quantum of Solace’. Olga has done several films and still continues to be a prominent figure in the world film history.
