He started out as a screenwriter and when he got a camcorder in the year 1999, he started to direct short film through a VCR. Every year, he shoots a short film and continues honing his skills until he became a professional and focused on writing, editing, and directing films. His movies increase in content and quality and were seen in several film festivals and bagged many fest awards.
His films were distributed by different media outlets including Snagfilms. Cohen’s favorite part of the filmmaking process is the editing. He loves to write the script and direct a cast and crew, but he finds it incredible to just sit and work on all the footage. He became popular for directing short films like Decomposed (2009), Afloat (2011), Dolls for Strangers (2012), and Liquid Lungs (2013).
