Ken Cohen, also known as Gao Han, is a popular English health educator, a practitioner of indigenous medicine, and the founder and director of the Qigong Research & Practice Center. He is the author of the books, The Way Click to look into! >> Read More... of Qigong: The Art and Science of Chinese Energy Healing and Honoring the Medicine: The Essential Guide to Native American Healing, which both received critically acclaimed success. Cohen has also written several Sounds True Audio/DVD courses and hundreds of journal articles about health and spiritual. He graduated Theology and Taoism and he is fluent in speaking and reading the Chinese language. He bagged his teaching certificate at the William C.C. Chen School of T’ai Chi Ch’uan.
He has been a student of reputable Masters and Grandmasters around the world such as B.P. Chan, William C.C. Chen, Madame Gao Fu, Sunyata, Share K. Lew, and many more. In the late 80’s, he joined the New Seminary to enhance his study of Comparative Religion and perform healing work in prisons, hospitals, etc. He was appointed as the interfaith minister with a degree in Spiritual Therapy M.S. Th. Cohen also holds an honorary M.A. in Psychology and various academic honors. He is a leader of the dialogue between the modern science and ancient wisdom.
Cohen was able to demonstrate amazing bioelectric states in Ed Wilson’s laboratory and he was also one of the nine exceptional healers who joined Menninger Clinic’s project called Physical Fields and States of Consciousness. He held several workshops and lectures that have been sponsored by the Health Canada, American Cancer Society, Mayo Clinic, and different organizations and events. He bagged several awards including the Alyce and Elmer Green Award, a Lifetime Achievement Award in Energy Medicine, etc.
