Siva Nageswara Rao is a director and a screenwriter in the Indian film industry, working mostly in the Telugu movie industry. He is known for his movie “Money” released in 1993. Rao gained generous altruism with this movie.

He finished his education from The Hindu College in Guntur. Since his childhood, he got inspired by films. At the young age of 23, he moved to Chennai to work in the Telugu film industry. During his initial years, to make money he worked in films like Sannayi Appanna and Burripalem Bullodu as a junior artist.

He offered Rao to work for him as a co-director for his new project “ Shiva Click to look into! >> Read More... .” Rao welcomed his offer right away. Rao gave him three reasons for accepting: 1. The money was good, 2. He could be completely genuine with Ram Gopal Varma and 3. If the film is a success he can work permanently for him.
Rao’s objective was to direct movies. With the help and ideas of Ram Gopal Varma, he made a remake of the Hollywood movie Ruthless People, titled as “Money.”
He worked in a short movie called “DaaHam.” Rao is currently working in a zee Telugu’s serial ‘That is Mahalakshmi.” He states that working in the television industry has given him more time to build good characters.
Rao is always enchanted with the latest trends. Adapting to the recent styles and methods has never been a subject of concern for Rao. He grieves that he was unable to release his movie with actor Krishna due to some issues, but he hasn’t lost hope. Rao states that Television is his preference now, but films are still paramount.
