Graham Arthur Chapman was born in Leicester on January 8, 1941. He was an English writer, comedian, and actor. He was born to Walters Chapman and Edith Towers. His father was a policeman. Chapman studied medicine in Cambridge at Emmanuel College in 1959. She took part in Cambridge show and travel around New Zealand. So he deterred his medical studies for one year. Then he continued his medical studies at St. Bartholomew’s Medical College. After the success of Footlights, Cleese and Chapman wrote for BBC. They wrote for David Frost and Marty Feldman. He did sketches for I’m Sorry and I’ll Read That Again radio shows. He then finished his medical studies at St. Bartholomew’s Medical college. He then became a professional doctor. He also co-wrote some episodes of Doctor in Charge. Chapman starred as the lead in Holy Grail and Life of Brian. To eschew the British income tax, he shifted to Los Angeles in 1970. Chapman wrote for a pirate film Yellowbeard in 1976. He starred as a guest on The Big Show. In 1989 he published his chronicle called “A Liar’s Autobiography”. Chapman appeared in ‘Can I Play with Madness”, an Iron Maiden video in 1980. Chapman was a homosexual. He describes that finding it was an important moment in his life. At the age of 15, he started pipe smoking. He also began drinking heavily while he was in college.
He then stopped drinking since it affected his acting career. Chapman got diagnosed with a tumour in his tonsils. The tumour then spread to his spinal cord. He underwent lots of chemotherapy and surgery. At last, chapman passed away on October 4, 1989. His ashes got rumoured to have blasted into the sky by rockets and scattered on Snowdon, North wales.
