Barry Peterson is an English Cinematographer. He is a Canadian/American. He was born in Alberta, Canada. He initially worked in visual effects on various productions before entering as an action cinematographer, where he began shooting commercials for companies such as Apple, Nike, and Pepsi. As a cinematographer, Peterson’s first credited film was in 1993’s “Mustard Bath”.
When Peterson moved to Los Angeles, Peterson was hired as the director of philosophy for Ben Stiller’s “Zoolander”, which quickly lead him to work on numerous studio films.
