Zeek Earl

Zeek Earl is one of the most reputed film directors, cinematographers, and a Screenwriter too. He has been directing the 2018 feature-length film, Prospect, along with Chris Caldwell, his friend. Chris a simple-living and high thinking person who lives in Seattle, Washington, and completed his studies from Seattle Pacific University. During writing, he met Chris and their tie transformed into one of the biggest production company of realtime "Shep Films," and they started making commercials for short films. When they found out the opportunity behind making features length film, Prospect, they immediately turned their efforts into it.

Some of his outstanding short films :- Flirting's for Dummies (2009), In the Pines (2012), Prospect (2014), Redemption Man (2016), Prospect (2018) It is said that its hard to find the cool lines, polished surfaces, and antiseptic environment, but these were nowhere found in the fantastic works of Seattle-based filmmakers, which were Zeek Earl and Chris Caldwell. In just two short films, they have established the character-based sensibility in which fantastic fiction is grounded first and foremost in the natural world. Their goal was to create an apparatus by which they could do their projects.

When they have an idea, the barriers are much less. They have cameras and connections and can play around. They don’t have to wait for the approval. Their first collaboration, "Shep Films," was not a film, but a commercial production company. A debut work by Earl and Caldwell's in 2012 into the Pines, which is a story of a young woman. She is being called by some highly experienced lady, who thinks and upon believing that she leaves a message for her mother and goes on for a long journey deep into the Olympic mountains.

There are various work arts used to create a thrilling and emotional narrative connect to the spectators, and some of them are listed like musicality, macro nature cinematography, and a poetic voice-over and many more. After their success, they started working on the film Prospect. Still, for this, they required online exposure as soon as possible, so after SXSW premiere, they uploaded the short show on the online platform having a set target among the journalists who had written positive response in the Pines. At a place where various discussions about movie take place, Earl and Caldwell has a conversation about their project which they have worked on and on which Caldwell always thinks that technology can never be trusted to safeguard yourself. He always wants to preserve the retro. So, it can be said that he believes that a sensible future can crave out by doing everything in an analogical way.
