Oliver Bokelberg is a director and cinematographer. He was born on 21 December 1964 in Hamburg, West Germany. Oliver developed a passion for filmmaking and learned from his father. He graduated from New York University UGFilm and TV in 1988. Oliver's first film CHARM INCIDENTS was photographed in 1995 in Vienna. He is known for his creative use of lights, digicam movement, and coloration to enhance the mood and humor of scenes. He is known for The Station Agent (2003), Scandal (2012), and Dance Dreams: Hot Chocolate Nutcracker (2020). Oliver Bokelberg directed, photographed, and produced Hot Chocolate Nutcracker for Netflix.Â
