David Bowers was born in the year 1970 in the Cheshire County of England, United Kingdom. He is an alumnus of the West Surrey Art College, from where he got his majors degree in animation. He then went to the Farnham College to learn designing. He left Farnham after his first year to work as an animator under the famous animator Richard.
He worked on his first animated movie, Who Framed Roger Rabbit with Richardin 1988. This was an action-comedy film, which was directed by Robert Zemeckis. In 1988, he did his second show as an animator named the Count Duckula, a comedy-drama animated series on TV. This was a 22-minute show, which was aired on the ITV Network, Nickelodeon, Italia, YTV, and on many other major cartoon channels of different countries.
David is most famously known for his work as an animator in the adventure comedy of the year 2006, Flushed Away. He was the co-director with Sam Fell for this animation. The film was about the life of a rich rat (Roddy), who gets flushed off in the toilet and ends up in London, where he tries to adapt to the new lifestyle. He is also credited for directing the movie Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules in 2011. This movie was based on a satirical novel by Jeff Kinney (author and cartoonist).
Other than directing and doing animation in movies, David has also lent his voice in three movies. These movies include The RRRF in New Recruit, in this film he gave the voice to the character of Mike, The Fridge; in the movie Astro Boy, he was the voice of the character Mike; and in Flushed Away, he gave the voice to the characters of the goldfish, Shockey, and the fly.
In the year 2013, the news came out that David was all set to direct an animated movie for Universal Pictures and would be directing an adaptation of an American Children’s book, Clifford the Big Red Dog, authored by Norman Bridwell  Norman Ray Bridwell was born on 15 February 192 >> Read More... .
