Her place of birth in Washington, D.C., U.S. She was born to her parents, Katherine Anderson and Pedro Julio Figueroa del Rivero. Chita has gained accomplishments since her childhood. She has attended Jones-Haywood School of Ballet. Later, she was also given a scholarship for her talent by the George Balanchine's School of American Ballet.
