Sean Patrick Thomas was born on 17th December 1970 in Washington, Columbia, USA. He is an American-based actor by profession and has appeared in various films and television shows. He is married to Aonika Laurent. They were married on the 22nd of April, 2006. They both have a daughter named Lola Jolie who was born on May 16, 2008. He was brought up in the city of Wilmington, Delaware. His parents worked as a financial analyst and an engineer. He had two younger siblings. He went to the University of Virginia pursuing law but later switched the direction towards acting when he bagged a role in the film ‘A Raisin in the Sun’ and attended the Graduate Acting Program from Ney York University in 1995.

He began his screen journey in 1990 and appeared in minor role films like ‘Conspiracy Theory’ in 1997, ‘Can’t Hardly Wait’ in 1998, ‘Cruel Intentions’ in 1999, etc. His first lead role was the film ‘Save the Last Dance’ and it grossed over 90 million. He was also in the cast of ‘The District’, a crime tv drama that was aired on CBS from 2000 to 2004. He played the recurring character of Alan Townsend on Reaper. He even portrayed Dr. Michael Cayle in a horror film named ‘Deep in the Darkness.’ The last movie that he appeared on was ‘Influence’ which was released in 2020, while his latest television show was ‘Middle School Moguls’.
