As a result of his contract with ABC, he guest-starred on several shows for the network, including his role as Scott Murphy in the ABC series Secrets and Lies, which he appeared on with Juliette Lewis and Ryan Phillippe. Recently, he was cast as Paulo Bartolo in the 1920s crime picture Live By Night, opposite Ben Affleck and Chris Messina. Warner Brothers and Leonardo DiCaprio will produce and distribute the film, which Affleck will direct.

Television dramas were Benny Ciaramello's calling card. It was his performances in dramas such as "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" (CBS, 2000-2015) and "CSI: New York" (CBS, 2004-2013) that launched Ciaramello's early acting career (ABC, 2005-). Other television credits include ABC's 2006-2011 hit series "Brothers & Sisters" as well as "Friday Night Lights" (NBC, 2006-2011). Ciaramello appeared in films such as Tom Cruise's "War of the Worlds" (2005) to start the profession. Throughout the early 2000s, he continued to feature in television dramas, including "Private Practice" (ABC, 2007-2013), "Castle" (ABC, 2009- 2016), and "NCIS: Los Angeles."
