Dita Von Teese was born on 28 September 1972 in Rochester, Michigan, USA. She was then called Heather Renée Sweet. She is an American burlesque dancer, costume designer, model, entrepreneur and occasional actress. She got known for her dark raven hair and green eyes. She is a known fetish supermodel. Teese has a machinist for a father, and her mother is a manicurist. Her heritage is English, Scottish, American as well as German. After dancing solo at the age of 13 for a local ballet company, she began her career at 18 in a strip club.
