The story centers around the Oberoi family, headed by matriarch Kalyani Singh Oberoi. She has two sons - Tej and Shakti. Tej is married to Jhanvi, and they have three kids - Omkara, Rudra, and Priyanka. Shakti is married to Pinky, and they have a son, Shivaay. Shivaay has a hostile first meeting with Annika, who confronts his misuse of power and money. Despite their rocky start, Annika is hired to plan Shivaay's wedding to Tia. Over time, Shivaay and Annika's relationship evolves from hate to love. However, numerous obstacles come up - revelations about Tia's prior marriage, interference from Shivaay's friend Daksh, who becomes obsessed with Annika, and eventually blackmail from Pinky. In the meantime, Omkara falls for a woman named Ishana, who has ulterior motives, while Rudra crosses paths with police officer Bhavya. Misunderstandings abound in both relationships before the truth comes out. More family drama unfolds - illegitimate children emerge, and deadly schemes are hatched for the Oberoi wealth by abusive partners like Kamini. Through it all, the core characters navigate romance, trust issues, and family politics. Further, the Oberoi daughters-in-law like Annika and Gauri face opposition and conspiracies. Significant events occur, including a presumed death, memory loss, and the introduction of another Oberoi brother. Ultimately, Shivaay and Annika find their way back together after exposing various villains. Rudra and Bhavya, as well as Omkara and Gauri, also unite. The plot outlines the next generation of Oberois as well until the murder mystery of Shivaay and Annika is solved.
