After a wobbly 2024, Mohanlal is back in action. Though the year didn’t begin as expected with the average performance of L2 : Empuraan, Mohanlal more than made up with the crime thriller Thudarum, which was directed by Tharun Moorthy.

The movie also reunited Mohanlal with Malayalam star Shobana, with whom he had last worked in 2009. The movie is now on the verge of becoming one of the highest grossing Malayalam movies of all time, beating the star’s own movie L2: Empuraan in the process. The actor is currently working on multiple projects, which also includes Jailer 2 and Bhooth Bangla.
