Gul Khan is one of the leading Indian Television producer, director and writer. She is the co-creative head and co- producer of 4 Lions Productions. She has written and produced many television soaps such as Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, which had 398 episodes and which was aired from 2011 to 2012.

Her other works include TV series Qubool Hai, Miley Jab Hum Tum, Arjun: Har Yug Mein Ayega Ek, Humse Hai Life, Suvreen Guggal, Geet and Humsafar. As a director she has worked for Rishtey- Kashish (2000) and Qubool Hai. She was brought up outside of India and is married to Gorky Max.

This daily soap was telecasted on the Sony Entertainment Channel, whose main theme was sung by Alka Yagnik, the prevalent voice of India. Hemant Prabhu is an Indian director who has directed several Hindi serials. In 2004, Hemant directed Siddhant in which Pawan Shankar played the titular role in the show. BAG Films financed the project. Siddhant became a critically acclaimed series at the time. It has a rating of 8.2 on IMDB website. It aired on Star One and got a nomination at the International Emmy Awards ceremony. In 2005, Hemant took over the reins of Sati: Satya Ki Shakti. It was a female-centric serial as the protagonist Sati attempts to fight for the rights of women in the country. It has also highlighted those issues which women face on a regular basis such as sexual harassment. One of its features was that Manasi Salvi posed as her character Sati Razdan and answered questions from the audience. While working on the sets, Hemant fell in love with Manasi. As a result, they married in 2006. In 2009, Hemant made his Bollywood directorial debut “Lottery” which had former Indian Idol winner AbhijeetSawant and RuchaGujarathi. The film also had GufiPaintal (Shakuni of Mahabharata show) asa supporting character. It was a romantic comedy in which a man has to kill any one of his girlfriends to win a jackpot. However, the critics slammed the movie for its content. It released on 20 March 2009. In 2012, alongside Manish Khandelwal and Arvind Gupta, Hemant directed some episodes of ZEE TV’s PunarVivah. PunarVivah is about a widower and a female divorcee who agree to tie the knot for the sake of their children. After facing difficulties initially, the couple begins to love each other. The audience appreciated PunarVivah for portraying the topic of remarriage. PunarVivah recorded a decent television rating points consistently. It featured in the top five Indian serials’ lists in 2012. Although the show had a slump in 2013, it managed to attract the viewers’ interests. PunarVivah also aired in countries like Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. In 2010, Hemant was a part of the production squad of GunahonkaDevta which broadcasted on Imagine TV. GunahonKaDevta ran for a brief period as the channel went off the air. In 2016, Hemant and Manasi decided to end their marriage after eleven years. They have a daughter Omisha. Newspapers reported that his wife left Hemant’s Goregaon flat. The director also admitted that the things were not working in favor of their marriage. They filed for the divorce in the month of June.
