Veena Mehta is a North Indian professional film and TV actress. She is also a singer and producer. She has acted in many famous Hindi TV shows and movies. Veena Mehta was born in New Delhi in India. Later, she moved to Mumbai, Maharashtra and is working there. Veena got her school education in New Delhi at Janaki Devi Mahavidyalaya and did her high school in Rai Kedarnath Higher Secondary School also in New Delhi.

After her studies, she shifted to Mumbai to start the career as an actress. Veena Mehta took a break after her last movie as a singer and returned to the big screen as an actor. Her debut movie as an actress was Mundu directed by film director Ajeet Gupta and with actors S. M. Zaheer and Subhash Gupta in lead roles. This movie hit the theatres in the year 1983.

Her other movies are Bade Ladaiya Mahobe Wale in 1993, Main, Meri Patni Aur Woh! in the year 2005. Mostly, Veena Mehta played the roles of the mother of the lead actors or one of the main supporting characters in the series.
