The original stories were aired in 1986- 2006. In 2020, the series was dubbed in Kannada and was aired on Zee Kannada. Most of the artists are from Sandalwood and a few from Bollywood. The series was shot in Karnataka, mainly in Shimoga. A few episodes are shot in Devarayanadurga in Tumkur, and some episodes are filmed in Bangalore. Season 1, 2, and 3 had 13 episodes, each with different stories, and the last season had 15 episodes. A few stories are single-episode, and some, like Swamy and Friends and Vendor of Sweets, continued for 8 episodes.
