Deven Bhojani is an Indian TV serial actor who was born on November 25, 1969 in Mumbai, India. He is also a director and a theatre artist who graduated Commerce at Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies in Mumbai. Afterwards, Deven studied film direction to pursue his dream of becoming a director at the University of South California.
He got his fame for his Gujarati shows and drama plays. He was debuted as a television actor in the popular, Malgudi Days Click to look into! >> Read More... which was aired in 1987. He portrayed the role of Nitya on the show’s Episode Number 13. He got his fame for doing comedic and supporting roles. He was also successful in performing on the big screen. He was debuted as a film actor in the Bollywood drama film, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander in 1992. He was nominated for Best supporting Actor in this film. Deven Bhojani is a television actor and an eminent filmmaker. He finished Commerce at Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies in Mumbai. Afterwards, he took up film direction professionally and studied in one of the best filmmaking institute called University of Southern California. He was born and raised up in Mumbai and he is also a proud Gujarati. Initially, he worked as a theatre artist and became popular for his Gujarati plays. He developed his talent as an actor through his many appearances in the theatre world. 

He was debuted as a television actor through the popular evergreen show, Malgudi Days by R.K. Narayan in year 1987. He became popular for his comedic and supporting roles. In 1993, he was roped in to play the role of Karima in one of the popular comedy sitcom, Dekh Bhai Dekh. Then he did serials in the 90’s like Shrimaan Shrimati, Tara, V 3 + and Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka. In year 2001, he acted as Patel on SAB TV’s Office Office. He was also seen in Shree Sifarishilal. From 2005 to 2010, he essayed the role of Gopal Thakkar or popularly known as Gattu in the drama-comedy series, Baa Bahoo Aur Baby by Hats Off Productions, from which he gained several awards for Best Actor in Comic Role. At the same time, he also acted and directed the award-winning TV sitcom, Sarabhai vs. Sarabhai in 2005. This gave him the Best Director award in the comedy field. He made a special appearance in the comedy sitcom, Instant Khichdi on STAR One. In 2009, he acted in the show, Remote Control. Later, he was seen as Mr. Suhaas Tendulkar in the comedy series, Mrs. Tendulkar on SAB TV. Deven was debuted as a film actor in the box-office Bollywood sports film, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar in 1992. He was nominated for Best Supporting Actor in the Filmfare Awards for his role as Ghansu. He also did films like Aaja Sanam, Andaz, Kranti Kshetra, Sarhad and more. In 2010, he acted in a cameo role in the Bollywood comedy film, Khichdi: The Movie and played as a patient with brain hemorrhage. He was one of the lead in the film, ‘Chala Mussaddi…Office Office’ in 2011. The film is based on the popular TV series, Office Office and Deven played the same role he did in the series.
