Plot

Manohar is a happy-go-lucky guy, who lives with his mother and sister. His mother is very caring and Mano loves his family much. When he meets Keerthana, an egoistic woman, his life takes a turning point. Although they lock horns, Manohar loves her, whereas Keerthana doesn’t like the local guy. What did Manohar do to get Keerthana? Watch the film in theaters!

Star Performance

Performance wise, the film has no negative points at all. Right from Sivakarthikeyan and Nayanthara to the comedy stars, everyone did their job perfectly. Among the comedians, Robo Shankar needs a special mention. Radhika fits well in the caring mother role. Her dialogue delivery is awesome as usual.

Analysis

Rajesh’s movies don’t carry any useful messages, but they don’t disappoint the audiences too. Nayanthara’s previous outing with Rajesh, Boss Engira Bhaskaran is the best example. But that didn’t happen this time. If Siva had chosen this film, there is nothing big to shock. But, really it is shocking to see Nayan choosing such a script, after doing majestic roles like “ Aramm Click to look into! >> Read More... .” If she had been doing a template heroine roles till now, none would comment much at her script selection. But, this had gone wrong for Nayan. She got a good role in " Viswasam Click to look into! >> Read More... " than in Mr Local. The screenplay has nothing to offer. In fact, we have to search for it! Songs are good and the BGM too. Cinematography is neat. The length of the film should have been trimmed.

Predictable story plot
The screenplay is very weak

Verdict

The only solace is the chemistry between Nayan and Siva. But, this is not Nayan’s cup of tea. If you are a Nayan fan and expect some special performance from her, like her previous films, then this might not satisfy you. If you just want to kill your time, you could visit the theaters!
