Director Rajesh is one among the popular young directors in Tamil cinema. Rajesh was born in the year 1985 in Nagercoil. He completed his engineering in National Engineering College in Kovilpatti. He got job in IT industry and was working as a software engineer in Mumbai.

Due to his interest in cinema, he resigned his job and came to Chennai. He joined as an assistant to the popular directors to gain knowledge in directing the films. His aim was to do comedy films that are loved by the audience. So,he prepared himself to do the comedy tracked movies. His first movie as an assistant director was with Ameer in Mounam Pesiyathey. He has assisted veteran director Chandrasekar in nearly 4 films. Before committing in his first project, he met Shakthi and fell in love with her. Now, they both are married and leading a happy life.

By keeping their love story in the mind, he directed Siva Manasula Shakthi, his debut venture. The film, which has Jiiva and Anuya was a super hit. After a year gap, Director Rajesh started his next venture with Arya and Santhanam in the lead with Nayan Thara. That movie is the super duper hit movie Boss Engira Baskaran. It was a sensational comedy hit all over Tamilnadu and the expectation of the audience increased more on Rajesh. When Udhayanithi Stalin was about to debut as a hero in the Tamil movie, he met Rajesh and requested him to direct a film with him. Rajesh immediately made ready a youth subject and directed Oru Kal Oru Kannadi with Uthayanithi, Santhanam and Hansika.

He is the story writer for all his movies and his movie Shiva Manasula Shakthi was remade in Telugu as Shiva Manasulo Shruthi. He directed Karthi Sivakumar in All in All Azhagu Raja. All his films have Santhanam in the lead comedy role. He is the script writer of the film Varuthapadadha Valibar Sangam.

His latest venture is Vasuvum Saravananum Onna Padichavanga. It has Arya, Tamannah and Santhanam. It is ready for the release and his next venture will be with Jiiva.

Vetri Mahalingam is the budding writer and director in Tamil cinema. Kandu Kondan Manickam, a small village in Virudhunagar district is the native of Vetri Mahalingam. Vetri Mahalingam is the director of the movie Vennila Veedu, which has Mirchi Senthil and Vijaya Lakshmi in the lead. He discontinued his schooling in his tenth standard, due to his strong love for cinema. After a long and a strong attempt, he joined as an assistant to the veteran director Bharathi Raja. He worked with Bharathi Raja for three films. Then, he directed a short film called Pencil, which got awards internationally. He also directed a movie, Arumbu Meesai Kurumbu Paarvai with new faces. As this movie was full of new faces, the movie did not reach the public, says Vetri Mahalingam. His latest hit was Vennila Veedu, which was a commercial success movie. At present, he has committed in directing a film with his own story. This film is a commercial movie that attracts the youngsters. He says that if the films are taken with perfection, then nothing could stop the success of the film. The story base should reach the audience well, only then the film gets success, tells Vetri Mahalingam. He adds that the success of the movie does not depend upon the budget, but on the characterization and the perfection of the movie. P Vijay (Pa Vijay)  is a Tamil poet and film lyricist, who wrote the award-winning lyrics for song’’ Ovvoru Pookalume’’ in Cheran's Autograph in Kollywood film industry. This lyricist had an extensive impact on Tamil cinema and was considered to be a gem writer of many songs that had featured in many movies. This poet and lyricist-writer were born in a middle-class family where his mother was a school teacher, and father worked as a spinning master in a textile mill in Coimbatore.  The actor was born in Coimbatore on 20 October 1974 and did his MA Literature in Tamil from Annamalai University. This poet was a discovery of director K Bhagyaraj, who was his family friend. He was associated with K. Bhagyaraj in the magazine ‘Bhagya’ and even got a chance to pen his lyrics for film Gnanapazham, which had music by K. Bhagyaraj himself.   But it was in 2004 when the film ‘Autograph’ was released, his song ’Ovvoru Pookalume"’ became an instant hit. Dr. Karunanidhi had given him the title’ Vithaga Kavignar’ and he came to be known as one of the best poets in Tamil Literature.
