Actor Sathish has been born and brought up in Chennai, Tamilnadu, India and started off his acting career with acting in theatres. Till today, Sathish continues to act in theatres and owns his own Tamil theatre troupe. Sathish is also a trained dancer and has also worked as a choreographer for a brief period of time in the Tamil film and television industry before becoming a dedicated Tamil tele serial comic actor. Sathish Muthukrishnan commonly known as Actor Sathish is an Indian film actor from Tamil film industry. He is born in Elampillai located in Salem of Tamil Nadu. He is the only son of Muthukrishnan and Bhuvaneswari Muthukrishnan. The last name Muthukrishnan is originated from his father’s name. Sathish has started his career in 2010 with the role of Pandiya in the film Tamil Padam released on January 29. The other projects he worked in the same year are Kola Kolaya Mundhirika and Madasapattinam for the role Pacha which released on May 21 and July 9 respectively. He also worked as a co-dialogue writer for A.L. Vijay’s Poi Solla Porom.

It is heard that this friendship laid the foundation for his role in the film Madarasipattinam. Sathish learned histrionics and acting for a long period of eight years in a theatre troupe of Crazy Mohan. Besides learning acting he also helped in writing dialogues for his productions. During this period, he acted a stage play "Chocolate Krishna" in association with the troop.
